The neat thing is that, if I put in the system.disk, click okay, >I get another box asking for the original disk. If I click cancel there - >again, no cancel - got to get that disk in. Then, if I put in the disk, >I still get the Icon info box. I left in the whole message because I feel it was important to leave in. [just an explanation to people who wonder why people quote so much 'unnecessary' stuff.. I'm one of those people most of the time!] I don't have any new revelations or anything for you, but I've noticed the same basic problem you've seen, but sometimes in different situations, I believe. What I've noticed is that in many cases you have to hit cancel like 4-5 times in situations like that! [It makes me think that I'm telling the computer "cancel... CANCEL.. YES, CANCEL.. GET ME THE HELL OUT OF HERE!"] It's VERY strange that it won't "accept" the cancel the first time, but it WILL after the 4th or 5th time. -- / Apple II(GS) Forever! unknown@ucscb.ucsc.edu \ \ Computer engineering student seeking a job. /
