For some reason I never connected the fact that it kept selecting and deselecting the icons because of the multiple switches, but it's obvious once you say so! [duhh!] Another one I've noticed is that if you eject a disk manually (and keep it's icon there.. I don't think the disk has to be actually opened.. i.e. a window for the disk's contents), then go around doing other file manipulation and such, it will ASK for that greyed out disk that has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the disk/file copying you're currently doing.. And no, I don't mean it'll ask for a system disk for tools or info or something.. it'll ask for any ol' disk in situations where it seems like it shouldn't care diddley about that disk.
