Apple is supposedly going to announce 3 low cost Macs (two of them color) by then. If the price is something you can handle, I would say buy a Mac instead. (Yes I am a GS owner). On the other hand, if Apple releases a new version of GS/OS, that will muddy the decision because it means Apple hasn't quite given up on the GS yet. It is a tough decision, but I personally am going to start saving my pennys for a color Mac, then network the Mac & my GS. Then I'll have the best of both worlds.
