I'm running (after the >Upgrade Week From Hell), UMAX 4.3. I'm running UMAX 2.2m and have the same type of symptoms.... This was very prevalent during one of our two busy times (mid year), the problem only shows up once every week or so now. We were unable to directly link it to any usage (eg network load, uptime, etc). The two messages we get are the Ethernet en_context, lamp = 0, slot = x, sts = y (y being the appropriate SV errno indicating lack of memory) and EN - no command packets available. We were advised by Encore to increase the ethernet params in /etc/system, but it still happened. Sometimes we can restart the ethernet by manually using the /etc/init.d procedures (saving a reboot), othertimes a reboot is needed because the ethernet memory wasn't released by the ifconfig. It sounds like the same sort of thing..... with any luck 2.4 will cure that and many other problems!
