We followed up as above and is was quietly closed. Rather than persue it, we just switched back to the 6.5 copy. labeled "v 14.5" and now everything works as it did. Side note: I remember when the engineers at the responce center used to say: "I'll call ya tomarrow to see if that fixed it."
