I currently have a mono monitor with dual frequencies which is capable of both CGA and Hercules graphics displayed as shades of gray. My question is: Are there other boards with the same feature as ATI VGA-wonder? I'm NOT interested in the mono 640*350 EGA mode, but it would be nice to have 320*200 EGA resolution in 16 shades of gray. Is this feature common or is the VGA-wonder a rare exception? I plan to buy a no-name Super VGA card (Trident chip) and I'd like to know if it is worth the trouble to ask for the feature. (Yes, I WILL buy a color VGA monitor when I can afford it!) Thank's in advance. Bengt Ask, Lund Institute of Technology, Lund, Sweden
