Later, I decided to use the pair of aliases in the manual: LOOK=*list LIST=c:\tools\list.com Place these in your aliases file (in this order), and you'll have LIST.COM and the internal version both. I use the internal one for viewing a single file or the output of a pipe, as it doesn't have to load a second program. -- Roy M.
