(asking about your favorites) Message-ID: <6877.26e5885b@jetson.uh.edu> Date: 6 Sep 90 04:20:58 GMT Organization: University of Houston Lines: 19 It's time to start the spreadsheet wars. I need to get a spreadsheet package to use on a PC clone, I want versatility, good display of graphics, and ease of use. It will be used infrequently and for very diverse purposes by a number of different people in my lab. Cost no object because I can get academic discount on almost all the packages.Could people, with experience using a few different packages, comment on their preferred one. Most important is ease of use to someone who won't use it often. Things I am thinking of: Quattro Pro Excell Planperfect (we use wordperfect) Lotus (in one of its incarnations) Supercalc pencil and paper and a cheap $4 calculator mike benedik university of houston benedik@uh.edu
