Systems, Milwaukee, WI, USA Lines: 24 Hi folks. Long time, no read :^) Gotsa question for you. In Freehand I want to take some text, generate an outline of it and use that as a mask over a graduated fill region. The effect I want is if I had a graduated filled rectangle, took text on a sheet of white paper, cut out the text to create a white paper with text-shaped holes in it and then pasted it over the graduated region. (There is that verbose enough?) If someone can tell me how to do this in Freehand, I'd appreciate it. (I guess I can create the outline well enough, but how do I get Freehad to treat it as a "continuous" region and fill it as such. I'll post summaries. Please email. -- Jeffrey A.
