Whilst running Word4 on a Mac Plus, paragraphs within the document mysteriously move from one location to another. The effect happens when switching from the "galley" mode to the "page view", one particular paragraph is transported about 4 paragraphs forward in the document. This movement remains when the document is printed. I cannot get the effect to replicate on a similar Mac, with a copy of the original file. It strikes me that we have one of the following: 1) A bug which is caused by the interaction of particular versions of software, including DAs and Cdevs etc. 2) A virus resident on either the system disk of the Plus, the particular copy of Word, or the particular copy of the file. 3) A very strange hardware fault. I think 3) is unlikely. I will be instigating a virus search, and taking usual virus suspect precautions. E-mail replies please, for speed, and I'll post a summary of help received. Thankyou. Nigel Cliffe. _____________________________________________________________________ Nigel Cliffe ncliffe@axion.bt.co.uk (...ukc!axion!ncliffe) Tel: +44 (0)473 645275
