Message-ID: <467@arkham.enet.dec.com> Date: 7 Sep 90 20:21:47 GMT Sender: news@arkham.enet.dec.com Lines: 13 I just bought a new HD for my Mac, a La Cie Tsunami drive (180 M external, Fujitsu mechanism). It installed just fine and is working great, but I was just wondering: Are these drives normally noisy? Periodically I can hear the disk spinning; it sounds like someone playing a drum. (My other drive is a Jasmine and I can't hear it at all.) Does anybody else out there own one? Are Tsunamis supposed to be noisy? It doesn't appear to have any other problems as far as I can tell.
