Message-ID: <05099020:49:13MM0F@lehigh.bitnet> Date: 6 Sep 90 01:49:13 GMT Lines: 10 To: lusysnz@VAX1.CC.LEHIGH.EDU X-Envelope-to: lusysnz Does anyone know of any reason why a piece of software which runs on every other Mac-series computer would fail on the IIci? My company does Macintosh DP-utilties/pagination development and one of our QuarkXPress Xtensions totally bombs on the Mac IIci. The "bombing" occurs when a body of text is selected, then routines are called which extract/delete words from the selection range, perform our own hyphenation algorithm on the extracted word, then the hyphenated word is re-inserted into the select range. As I said, this works very nicely on every other machine (capable of running XPress) but bombs on the ci...any ideas?
