But Marty's not talking about his personal use of StuffIt.  He's talking about
all those files that OTHER PEOPLE post on the net, and his own access (or lack
of same) to them.  He wants the net to use a standard for which he knows the
format, so that he can do whatever he wants with those files on whatever platform
he wants.

come out much more coherent, and relevant to the subject matter at hand.
