Lines: 12 I would very much like an interpreter for converting PostScript .PS files to a bit map or some other useable format so that I may print out the file to a non-Postscript printer such as a HP DeskWriter or ImageWriter II. I don't know if the PostScript language is protected to prevent an interpreter such as this. Wasn't the PostScript language released to the public just recently? Isn't a new version supposed to be in the making? I think that this is an interesting question and any comments would be appreciated from the forum of students like me.
