(One of the things I traditionally do on new computers is get them to "sing" _Let's Make the Water Turn Black_, whether "singing" involves just playing the notes and printing the words or actually singing the words.) I came to the conclusion that, even in robotic mode, there were too many variations in pitch to make it sound good.
