Because ResEdit 1.3d1 is a delta-release, you shouldn't use it. It has a lot of bugs: one of them is in the FONT-editor. If you look at the Courier-FONT for ex., you will find that there are no "boxes": that FONT is complete (i.e. each ASCII-number (>=32) has a char). >I need to generate special characters for >writing in Romanian, and have found no such fonts available. If you want to build your own font (or adding some characters) you must do it for every size you want to use: for getting good printing-quality you also have to make them in 2 x size. The best program for these sort of things is a program like FONTastic (bitmap) or Fontographer (laser & bitmap). /Olle
