My wife's Oral Surgeon doesn't feel there is any software that is easy to use that can do anything more than taking a scanned photo and giving one the ability to modify it till you get the look that the patient would like. His main complaint is that that only shows you what the soft tissue looks like, not how much to move the bone to accomplish the look. We are looking for SW that would be able to map the scanned photo to an xray with appropriate correlation points. We've even discussed a modification of the old stereoscopy techniques that, in effect, give a "topographical" map of the face. Anyway, please include me in E-mail with information.
