I finally got around to building it on our IRIS 4D/320S (SGI). It built without even any warnings, but when I ran it, I got the following error exit. The command: vmsbackup -tvf /dev/rmt/xmt0d0nr.1600 Gives: Snark: Invalid header block size Volume: TEX Saveset name: TEX.BCK number: 1 It has the save set name correct. Any idea what gives? I made the backup on VMS 4.5 . I see where the test and error message come from, but don't have the time to debug/rewrite it. Thanks, John yates@c.chem.upenn.edu
