Sorry, I seem to have missed the original article. Symbols for N and Z are available in the fuzz package (a set of macros and environments for printing Z specifications and a typechecker). Alternatively, these hacks seem to work reasonably well: \newcommand{\R}{{\sf R\hspace*{-0.9ex}\rule{0.15ex}{1.5ex}\hspace*{0.9ex}}} \newcommand{\N}{{\sf N\hspace*{-1.0ex}\rule{0.15ex}{1.3ex}\hspace*{1.0ex}}} \newcommand{\Q}{{\sf Q\hspace*{-1.1ex}\rule{0.15ex}{1.5ex}\hspace*{1.1ex}}} \newcommand{\C}{{\sf C\hspace*{-0.9ex}\rule{0.15ex}{1.3ex}\hspace*{0.9ex}}} (Thanks to nwinton@axion.bt.co.uk for the first one) The ones for N and Z in the fuzz package are better though. Can't help with a diagonal bar for the Integers symbol though. Presumably something could be hacked up with the picture environment. Hope this helps ____________________________________________________________________ Pete Young pyoung@axion.bt.co.uk Phone +44 473 645054 British Telecom Research Labs,SSTF, Martlesham Heath IPSWICH IP5 7RE
