I got three answers on my query for a DVI previewer for Tektronix
Terminals:

- Eric Hoffman <prism!ccsupeh> pointed me to the "Aston archive" -
  unfortunately I was not able to find this archive.

- Hans Juergen Rosenberger <rosenb@fuhainf.fernuni-hagen.de> showed me
  ymir.claremont.edu [134.173.4.23] where I found the C-version (v1.0)
  of dvi2vdu I use now.

- Masahiro Kitagawa <kitagawa%will.ntt.jp@RELAY.CS.NET> wrote:
