   I appreciate everyone sending me help on how to get the CD ROM drive
and the player program to work together.  However, the consensus is that
the player program should be run suid or I should log in as root.  The
only way I log into the system is as root so it seems that some other        
problem is preventing the program from working.  Anyone have any ideas?
