Keywords: debugger, patching, adb, ISC, i386 Message-ID: <150@rwing.UUCP> Date: 10 Sep 90 14:30:00 GMT Organization: Totally Unorganized Lines: 21 I have noticed that ISC 2.0.2 does not include adb(1) in the basic distribution, nor in any of the add-ons, such as the Dev Pkg, Network stuff, etc. Why in &%%#(*)&!! Interactive "forgot" to include such a basic command is bewildering (but they left other foundation utils out as well, so I don't know)... This is a valuable utility for making binary patches, and I do have need of it. Does ANYONE out there have any idea of how one obtains a copy suitable for ISC UNIX, or are there any PD/CopyLefted versions out there that are reasonably complete that works on COFF files? Would such an item be available from the Toolbox, for less than 4 figures? Most likely e-mail would be the most appropriate route for response, unless your answer would be valuable to everyone...
