This has happend to me about three times now. >Chuck I had this same problem with vpix and ISC 2.2 when I was trying to get my NOVELL NE/2 ethernet adapter to work with vpix as a DDA device. I made the mistake to configure the NE/2 card for interrupt 2 AND told vpix that the card was using interrupt 2. After that I had the same problem as you describe, when I started vpix the screen went black and the computer rebooted. The solution was to configure the DDA device for the NE/2 card as using interrupt 9 and everything worked after that. The problem is probably that the DDA driver was receiving all the extended interrupts (8-15) as IRQ 2 and promptly decided to reboot the computer. Hope this helps !
