Lines: 22 System: Digital VAX 8530 (FYI it's name is odin) OpSys: Ultrix 3.1 When I do an rsh to odin as root I get the following error message back: stty: : Can't assign requested address The command I attempt works but I always get this error message. When I do the same command as a regular user (not su) I don't get this error message. This isn't a major problem but I would like to find out what is causing it and correct it. Any information you could provide me I'd appreciate. Thanks, Bob Gill, System Operator **************************************************************************** Robert W.
