         Lock the speed at which the modem communicates with the port,
	 and then let the telebit handle the speed toggling while
	 communicating with the other modem. 
         Settings for my T2500 are
			 
	 S52=1 S54=3 S58=0 S64=1 S66=1 S68=3
	 S111=30 S110=1 S11=50 S51=5 S130=5 S131=1
