I am trying to sketch out a spec for them and wanted to ask some questions. (1) Are there X bitmap font editors available? (2) What features will be needed? (3) Is the software available to read/write BDF files? (4) Any advice? I have personally written a window system based font editor before, so I have a pretty good idea of what will be involved. My current idea is for the students to use a PixelEditor widget I wrote as a building block for their program. Please let me know if you have any ideas, suggestions, warnings, encouragement, etc. / Brian Totty o o /__ __ o 1304 W.
