My .Xdefaults looks like this: ( grep -i xman .Xdefaults ) Xman*bothShown: true Xman*manualFontNormal: "-*-courier-medium-r-normal-*-*-140-*-*-m-*-*-*" Xman*manualFontBold: "-*-courier-bold-r-normal-*-*-140-*-*-m-*-*-*" Xman*manualFontItalic: "-*-courier-medium-o-normal-*-*-140-*-*-m-*-*-*" Xman*topBox.geometry: +58+180 What happens is that in the manual browser I only get the fixed bold font (whether the text is actually bold, normal, or italics), no matter how I change the names above. In fact, fonts are only o.k. (using the new century schoolbook family as defined in xman/ScrollByL.h) if I cut out the 3 font definition lines from above. Setup: MIT vanilla X11R4 with patches 1 thru 14 Sun SS1 w/ color graphics loading .Xdefaults via (shell script) WINDOWMANAGER=twm XRDB_DEF="-Usun -DTWM -DHOME=${HOME} -DWINDOWMANAGER=${WINDOWMANAGER}" xrdb ${XRDB_DEF} -retain -load "${HOME}/.Xdefaults" Any help on how to make xman behave properly is greatly appreciated!
