After reading through a number of Motif/Xt books, I have been unable
to glean a good way to turn on the compress_exposure flag within the
"core" area of the xmDrawingAreaClass.  Do I really have to delve into
the 'private' widget information?  Does this need to be done before, or
after the DrawingArea widget is created?

I am currently using ISC's X11R3 v1.1 and ISC's Motif V1.0

Any help would be appreciated.
(Any code fragments, even more so :-)
