I am running B news patch level 17 on SCO Xenix 2.3.  And when I came 
in the morning to read news when a typed readnews or vnews I got a
messgae that said vnews: Too many newsgroups.  I ve had this in the past
and I have been able to fox it by running the latest Checkgroups through.

That dosent seem to fix it any more.

Does anyone know what causes this, and how can I fix it?

Please email all responses since I can't read news.
