During this tinkering, I found two possible bugs. The first I found in ifuncs.c. At line 305, I found this line of code. > appfile = appmsgid = FALSE This line basically turns off the I and F options in the third field of any 'LIBDIR/sys' file entry. End result, no filenames get logged for batching. The second I found in sendbatch.sh. In lines 89 thru 97, the shell variable '$du' gets set if, and only if, certain conditions are meet. Later on (line 117) '$du" is used to compute '$bytes_this_batch' and this will fail, if $du wasn't set. What I might be suffering from, is the slow deviation from true that continual patching can incure. Can anyone check and see if they have the same problem. -- Matthew Lee Stier (mstier@east.Sun.COM) | Sun Microsystems --- RTP, NC 27709-3447 | "Wisconsin Escapee" uucp: sun!mstier or mcnc!rti!sunpix!matthew | phone: (919) 469-8300 fax: (919) 460-8355 |
