Gabriel 0.7 (the latest release of the Gabriel DSP design environment from Berkeley) is available on tape (for a $200 handling fee) or via ftp (for free). You'll have to sign a license agreement stating that you won't redistribute or sell it. It runs on sun 3 and sun 4 machines and has an X11 interface. For details on what Gabriel 0.7 can do and what it requires, get the files "gabriel-overview" and "gabriel-release-info" via anonymous ftp from copernicus.Berkeley.EDU (128.32.240.37). The license agreements that must be signed to get the software are in "gabriel-license.shar". Phil Lapsley phil@ucbarpa.Berkeley.EDU ...!ucbvax!phil
