The problem with pcnews is that it is PC-NFS based. You have to be able to mount a the /usr/spool/news of a unix machine onto a DOS machine. What I would like to see is a version that works with a local NNTP server, and has ethernet support using the FTP packet driver spec. That way anyone with a ethernet card, a packet driver and a NNTP server availible can read, and probably post news.
