We have been trying to install public domain INGRES on a SUN 4 - 490 server.
The questions that we have are              
      1. Has it been done successfully yet.
      2. If so what are the major pitfalls that have to be faced.
      3. What is the disk space required.
      4. Is it absolutely necessary to be a super-user to install it.
