It contained a price list in the back of the book for various > texts among which it was included. B. Daltons wanted about $5.00 over > list. I too found out B. Dalton was charging more than list but found out after I had already bought the book. I don't want to make excuses for B. Dalton, nor advertise for them necessarily, but you can get a 10% discount on all books at B. Dalton by joining their Frequent Reader Club. When they first started this deal they were charging $5.00 to join rather than the supposed normal cost of $10.00. I know they extended the half price offer several times but don't know if it is still valid. Even at $10.00, if you buy a lot of books, you can save a bit of money especially if B. Dalton is the most convenient place to buy your books. Note that the 10% off does not apply to B. Dalton Software Etc. stores nor Software, Etc. departments within a regular B. Dalton, but does apply to the computer books in the regular computer section of regular B. Dalton stores (does that make sense :-)). Walden Books also has a Preferred Readers Club too, but their computer section is usually not as good a B. Dalton. ==-->> Standard disclaimers applied.
