Edberg) Organization: University of Nevada - Reno Lines: 20 I am working on a paper discussing programmer productivity and project control methods specifically for a business application development environment. Has anyone seen any papers presenting studies that have tested any of the following: 1) Lines of code (LOC)/function point for a COBOL program 2) Number of hours/function point for a COBOL program 3) Comparison of languages - LOC/function point and number of hours/function point 4) Comparison across types of industry - LOC/function point and number of hours/function point I am aware of a couple of small studies done prior to 1987, such as Albrecht and Gaffney(1983) but I am looking for something more current. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! D. Edberg dte@tahoe.unr.edu
