Status: PUBLIC MESSAGE I hear so much about JFORTH, it has to be the best FORTH out there for the Amiga. They compare it with other FORTH compilers, and even with a MAC forth compiler. It beats everything, I think FORTH is the best language for someone who wants complete control on the computer. Also I have this demo called Klidex useing JFORTH. It draws all these neato line drawing effects. Something like 10,000/lines per second in patterns.. The program was only 22k, and it had tons and tons of patterns.. Big question anyone know how VECTORS are done? I know formulas are involved. But the question which ones and would you have pre-caculated or real time caculated VECTOR movement.ect The Amiga is perfect for Vector programming. You have the BLITTER, and also you could use the CPU if you wanted. On the IBM you have only one option most of the time, the CPU..heh Its pretty sad the Amiga is not given enough recognition, as the lame IBM's are..heh I just love that new IBM PS/1, geez An Amiga can do more, and is cheaper.
