Got my local sysop to look up the echo, and lo! it was available, with some kindly effort. How are things going with JPI? Last I heard they were refusing to do any refunds on their Many Broken Things, refusing to fix them right now but will fix them Some Day Real Soon Now, and you were getting heat because you wanted something that worked. We can discuss things in a more genial environment here. I'm building laptops these days, and everyone seems to be scared of Modula-2 for some reason. The desire is that I use C and Assembler, not unreasonable I suppose as they *are* more standard tools. As for M2, I have recommended Stony Brook as worth looking at, and JPI as a piece of cheesy junk. You converted to Stony Brook yet? I've largely made the leap. The thing I really want to lay hands to is PMI modules, not quite ready yet for Stony Brook 2.1. Source and all, and I'll be past the compiler blues once and for all, and past the par where I can't move between compilers. I'm starting to be more favorably inclined towards PMI and their like.
