I am currently researching the use of information from CAD systems to
create models that can be used in model-based diagnosis.
I am now looking at the CAD "standards", like EDIF, IGES, VHDL, to see
what
information these have to offer me (see also companion posting).
It would be interesting to come into contact with other people working
on this topic.
