Ah, that may explain some of the trouble I am having. Also the version I downloaded I assume is not the most recent version as it is dated Sep 1988. As I said in my earlier posting, it does compile and run, but I am confused about various aspects of it. I guess I will actually have to sit down and read the source code. I hope to start coding my "packet fractal" program later this week (other time wasters permitting). I would be willing to share this with anyone who would answer the occasional email question.
