Our Encore Multimax just crashed in a way that seems like poetic
justice:

    On the console terminal appeared a fragment of somebody's paper
about multiprocessor interconnection networks.  The last readable
sentence was:

    "...it is difficult to build shared memory procesors
    "
    "^%%^$#$%#%$#it is difficult to build shared memory$%#%$#it is difficult to 
    "build shared memory$%#%$#it is difficult to build shared memory$%#%$#it is 
    "difficult to build shared memory%^$%^$%^$@#$@!$@#$@difficult to build
