This is a request to net.wisdom for 2 pieces of information, or pointers thereto:

  Connector pinout and other interface information for 8" MFM winchester drives,
  like Quantum 2020's and other ancient beasts.  These used a 50 pin control cable
  and a 20 pin data cable.  At least some of the pins were compatible with the
  8" 50pin floppy connector of similar vintage.

This is to help someone upgrade/replace/repair some old PDP-11 equipment with
ancient 3'rd party disk add-ons.

and on another tangent:

  Format and content specifications for JEDEC format PAL programming files.

This is to help someone update his custom logic generation programs to
use with his brand-new PAL/EPROM programmer
