This will be 20:15 - 22:15 (if we can last that long) on Thursday 11th October. It follows Steve Kille's BOF - See Below. We have 3 main topics: 1. Registration of Identifiers for NSAP addresses (GOSIP & non-GOSIP) 2. Registration of Object -Identifiers (Orgs, Objects, Entities). 3. Registration of MHS Management Domain Names. (US-MTS & INTERNET) Each of these three name spaces are entierly independent, except for our choice to arbitrarily link them, if we so choose. We will discuss the status of registration in each of these name spaces, and consider what actions might be taken to improve the situation. A report fo the BOF will follow after INTEROP. Although we may have difficulty holding our discussion to registration isses, because the use of registered numbers is also very interesting and important, we will try very hard to keep to the main business of resolving registration issues. Your contributions to the Registration BOF will be appreciated...\Stef -------- Begin To: ORName Map , ifip-gtwy@tis.llnl.gov Subject: Interop BOF on RFC 822 / X.400 Mappings Phone: +44-71-380-7294 Date: Fri, 14 Sep 90 13:58:00 +0100 Message-Id: <1337.653317080@UK.AC.UCL.CS> From: Steve Kille I will be leading a Birds of the Feather Session at Interop 90 on RFC 822 / X.400 mapping.
