Some new things have snuck into Perl recently so that they'd get included in the Perl book that we're about to send off to the publisher (O'Reilly) and when things are stable again, I'll probably call it a new version and distribute it, just so we can say the book documents version 3.1 or 4.0, or whatever it's going to be.
