Then I use a program called doscp (DOS COPY) on the UNIX system to transfer the files from the 3.5" IB? disk onto the UNIX system. I don't know if the program doscp is a standard file or if it is unique to HP's system. These programs are under /usr/bin and I only have the binary. There are about 9 files that start with dos* to do different things. Good Luck. Alan Haight ----------
