I've just uploaded Iconize v.90 (as IIze090.lzh) to abcfd20.larc.nasa.gov and
I would greatly appreciate it if you would run it through it's paces and let
me know what your results are.  It takes an IFF picture file and creates a
16, 8, 4 or 2 color icon for it.  Under 1.3 you'd need a WorkBench hack to add
more or take away a bitplane and under 2.0 you can just switch to that mode
from the ScreenMode preference.  Iconize is not foolproof, so I would be very
grateful for anyone who finds problems and could upload the offending picture
file to me along with a description of any symptoms.  So far it works pretty
well though.

One other thing, anyone who can give me IFF info so I can do away with the
iff.library and especially anyone with file specs on SHAM and the Dynamic modes
would be forever in my debt if they sent that info to me.  Thanx and enjoy my
work.
