To find the "release" of your copy, run WP and hit the help key. There is a date on the help screen. This is the date of the release. The lastest release is 9/29/89. There is also a "release" and date associated with PRINT, and WP Library. I called WP for support last week and asked about a newer version and they said "not yet". This is the *only* problem with Amiga WP that I can think of. WP just doesn't give the Amiga version enough development effort. WP's advantage is that it is available on multiple platforms and that the support is better than first rate. We run WP here on Dats General super-minis (where WP got started), PC clones, and occasionally Macs. I use WP at home on my Amiga because the files are compatible. We will probably install WP on some new Suns we are getting, for those who can't handle GNU Emacs :-) I guess I am a satisfied customer because I use WP for word processing, not desktop publishing, and the support really is excellent.
