The interlace flicker is NOT a problem of the operating system. It's a hardware
feature which makes the Amiga video signal compatible with the NTSC & PAL
TV/video systems. Although, interlace flicker is only visible when using the
interlace mode (400/512 vertical pixels). On my A2000/WB 1.3, I use a 736*284
non-interlaced screen which I think is the largest screen that can be used
without flicker.
