  I am just inquiring as to why you American's are so non-standard. For example,you spell words different than the rest of the English language.

  eg.    English			American
	 grey				 gray
	 colour				 color
	 jewellery			 jewelery
	 honour				 honor
	  ono (or nearest offer)	  obo (or best offer)

  just to name a few. Why on Earth do you spell them like you do?
