     I have a Boing! Optical mouse that hesitates as it is being "rolled"
horizontally but runs perfectly smooth when being "rolled" vertically.
Should I just open it up and clean the lights and their pickup sensors
or could the mouse have other problems?  The mouse is not abused and is
just about a year old.  Any help would be appreciated.
