[...several good suggestions deleted...] Another way to go (which I use regularly) is to use MessyDos (MSH:) on the Amiga to format/read/write 720k disks, and use MTOOLS on the SPARC stations. MTOOLS is a set of programmes running under Unix which allow SPARCS to read/write MS-DOS 720k (and 1.44M too I think) disks. Look for mtools in comp.sources.unix ..... somewhere....
